Unhappy ___WHICH TO OWN?___ 95 Mustang OR 04 Aveo

Hey guys, so I am in a dilema (sp?). I have to choose between the car that I currently own which is a 2004 Chevy Aveo (bought for $8k) or switching to my brother's car which is a 1995 Ford Mustang GT (bought for $5k).

I hope that your initial response is "DUH! Go with the gt" but I have a few things for you guys to consider:

AVEO
-31,000 miles
-32 mpg highway
-drives great through snow
-i don't have to worry about it breaking down while I am short on cash in college
-slow as hell
-no respect

MUSTANG
-126,000 miles
-26mpg highway
-V8!!!!!!!
-REAR WHEEL DRIVE!!!
-i am going to college in a very snowy area and may not be able to get traction, AT ALL
-it could break down and I could end up paying more for repairs than I would have had I kept my AVEO

So, what do you guys think, I am having a horrid time deciding. The mustang is an auto but it has a performance shift kit in it so it still gets the job done. The aveo is SUPER clean and basically brand new. HELP ME DECIDE! I am going crazy!!!!!!!!! I LOVE DRIVING FAST!!!!

Thanx guys.

I'd go with the Aveo if I were you .. newer, less milage, better on gas, oh and its not a FORD

OR

You can wrap that mustang around a pole and then buy the Aveo....

That year mustang I beleive was the first year that got the 4.6... the week 4.6, auto's in mustangs are notoriously slow, that stang probably isn't much faster then the aveo haha.

Definitely don't watse your time with that slow and girly looking stang. Those pre 2000 stangs looked bad and way to feminine, and they were so slooooooow. You won't get any respect from car people in that either. All you will get is peolpe trying to race you and you will get beat by everything ranging from well... practically everything.

Your choice, to me, is clear.

What kind of shape is the body in? I ask not because im interested, but because if its in good shape you could throw a jdm motor in it and new tranny for less than the cost of a new car..and it would rape that aveo.

Theres a guy in uxbridge who drives a aveo, its pushing 200+ hp. You can do some serious stuff to those cars.

OH, and how long are those 0 gauge runs?

Ok, first I must say that I AM A CHEVY GUY. Everyone in my family has owned a chevy until this freak incident when my bro bought a mustang. This mustang DOES HAVE THE 5.0 in it and a bunch of aftermarket parts like gear ratios and stuff. So it isn't the average slow mustang. I DO INDEED hate the look of this mustang, like I said I am a chevy guy but looks don't matter to me, I just like having fun in my car. It is basically being handed to me because my brother is going into the military. Really, the only reason why I want this car is because of the rearwheel drive. I suck at driving front wheel drive cars because I always hit the gas going into corners and all that does in a front wheel drive car is breaks the front tires loose and sends me into the ditch.

When I say respect, i mean driving respect (not straight line racing, HAHAHA). My friends and I screw around alot in our cars and I can never keep up with my little 4 cylinder engine.

So with all of that said , are you guys still leaning towards the AVEO?

Oh, and droppin in a jdm isn't an option for me since I don't have the tools, time, or skills to install one. But I believe that would indeed be one fast car.
