It's more than luck... You do get the pieces that the Vikings throw away, so if you have a general idea what they have....

I dunno. Just ranting. I finished level eight and had 44900

Not really.. the luck is from which blocks you start with and which blocks you get when you hit the question mark

(yes I realise you can kind of predict what you're going to get, but there's no guarantees)
