Adding automatic transmission fluid?
#3
buy a bottle....
drive car for a while, til its decently warm, etc..
park on level ground (some people put in nuetral, but debatable as to the importance of that)
check...
if it then needs some, then add some... not too much, I add roughly 1/4 bottle at a time
if you add to much you could blow a tranny seal, which is not good for your car's health

if you can remember(not the way i do), whenever you get home from work, or wherever, when the car has been driven for a while check it then, the fluid should be hot and circulating well enough to get a good reading. i check mine when the truck is cold, like in the morning before i start it, but thats me and my truck, i know where the safe level is when i check it then, and all vehicles and there owners are all different.
