Hey I need some advice from you all. I know me asking an Audio board. Any way the comunity leage is looking for an grounds keeper to work the rink this winter. I could get paid into any acount any way, kinda like cash. Never done this before so they will send me to school. Shouldn't be to hard like water turns to ice when it's cold. They have the equipment ect.The pays like 2 1/2 weeks of my full time pay every month. This could help.It's real close to home ect...Any 1 do this kinda work before? The other guy got fired for renting out the rink and pocketing the cash.

 

If your good you will be sought after. Curlers get real picky about their ice makers. It isn't as easy as you may think - and if they are paying you to be trained go for it! Could make a great seasonal job. . Never know you could end up at the 2010 Olympics!

Thanks. It's an outside rink at our comunity leage. And yes there willing to pay for training. It's like an 3 min. walk from my front door. From my best understanding it's for the locals kids and such, but if this goes I can't see why any 1 can't use it. Kinda like renting the hall.

Hey an update. I did take the position. I start next month. Have some things to repair/ build befor it gets cold out. I guess now I may have a little cash to put away for the Mini, for next season.
