If you have any expierence in building your own computers, that is a very cheap way to get an awsome computer! I love mine, that's what i did.

don't go with wireless keyboards & mice. IMO with my own personal experience you either lose one or you spend a fortune in batteries to power them.

unless of course you get a solid wireless set that is/are rechargable. I've had this set for probably almost 2 years....have yet to replace batteries yet. Works aweome. That being said it also cost me $110 when it came out. It's the Logitech wireless MX duo. Sells for about $60.

The computer you mentioned above would be fine, you'll probably wanna grab the dvdrw or at least a cdrw (dvd can do cd's too). And you'll wanna go with at least 512mb ram. So those two upgrades i'd say would be worthwhile.

The only way that would work is:

- if your ISP offers two IP addresses and you connect one pc to the modem via usb and the other visa ethernet (assuming the modem supports it which not many do)

- if you have two network cards in the current pc that one can connect to the modem and the other to your new pc

- if (and teh best option) you buy a router, connect it to the modem and then each pc (wired or wireless) to the router.

haha now you're confusing me. You said your router has one ethernet and one usb port.

Did you mean your modem does?

If it does, you'll have to make sure your ISP provides you with at least two IP addresses. Then...give it a go, both pc's may or may not work (note you'll likely have to install usb modem drivers for the pc connecting via USB (hopefully it's a win xp machine).

As far as internet connection sharing with two nics....iv'e never actually done it myself, and dont' know a whole lot abou tit. You can probably find more info just searchign the web or from other people here.
