The best thing about my Monster power center is it looks "f"ing good.I dont know if it works or not,but all those led's are pretty!

One should use decent surge protection though. I mean, I never have, save for $15 surge bars, and just cuz I've never had a problem does not mean it can't happen. right? [img]smile.gif[/img]

You are correct - there is nothing special you need to do.

Nothing will protect your equipment from a direct strike. If it is just a power surge, then yes it will protect you.
