Was thinking of picking up some quality bookshelf speakers. Not looking for anything extreme, but preferably in the ~$300-400 range.

Was considering the B&W 602's..

They will be powered by a Harman Kardon AVR125 receiver..

Look into the Paradigm Focus also.

Anything by PSB in your price range will also sound great!

Energy, Coincident, Paradgm, PSB, Mirage, Athena, and Energy are all Canuk companies (they all kind of sound alike (not a bad thing in this case since many were developed at
http://www.nrc-cnrc.gc.ca )

Acoustic Energy is British

a used Sequerra Met 7 is in your price range, a magical little speaker very 3D
