There aren't too many car audio mags that i know of besides Car audio Review, and PAS mag.

Car Audio and Electronics is a lot better mag than PAS. more content, less ads.

There are a ton of magazines still.
Carsound & Performance
RoadGear
Car Audio & Electronics
Performance Auto & Sound

I wouldn't recomend any anymore.

I would agree, they dont make good mags anymore!

Yup, there even too glossy to use as a$$wipe if your in a pinch.....this is what my installer who spends half his day in the crapper says. I think that they have all gone to $hit if you ask me.

Despite all the typographical and grammatical errors, Auto Sound and Security was my favorite. Lots of good quality how to's, and lots of event coverage. RIP.
Here is my quick little mini reviews of all the current big mags.
Carsound & Performance - mostly just fluff, not very many pages. Better off just browsing the website.
RoadGear - Nice magazine, but geared for total newbies. Was better as Car Stereo Review, but that was three versions ago, and it gets dumbed downed each time.
Car Audio & Electronics - it's actually getting better, at one time feature photo shoots were so bad you couldn't tell if the equipment photo's were just manufacturer photography or if the equipment was actually in a car. Although the buyer guide with it's annual first feature of the Apline demo car and equipment list used to be first rate, it's even slipping lately.
Performance Auto & Sound - quantity over quality is their mentality, although it gets lighter on the car audio content every year.

My suggestion is to try and find a European car audio mag.

PAS Mag has great review and comparisons and decent show coverage but they are posting more and more pics of the models and bikini girls then the cars/shows/events.
Not a major complaint but I want that mag for the features, columns and comparisons and Canadian show coverage. I'll get a Playboy for the girls.
