Is this caused by an improper diet?

Zut, I feel the same way. I used to be able to pull all nighters all the time. Now I feel beat even after getting 8+ hours of sleep. It's like I wake up after 10 hours of sleep and feel like I can't open my eyes. I was talkin to my GF about this exact same thing the other day! LOL!

Gee I thought water was beer.... Msn no working?

Mono..I'm ruling that one out since I really do not share drinks or food with anyone. Problem is I am an extremely light sleeper and wake up 5-6 times during the course of a night.

I'm gonna start keeping track of all this stuff now and figgur it out.

I've been feeling the same way,Zac,but I have tracked it down to a few things...

a:Ever since taking the flu shot back last year,I've been stuffed up and feeling like crap.

b:The Lithium pills I take now for the Bi-Polar have one really bad side effect...weight gain!I'm trying my best to watch my diet and trying to get more exercise but with the hours I work and with the weather being as it is here right now..well..kind of tough..

Once the real warm weather hits...LOOK OUT!!I'm going to be outside all I can!

Quit beating off.

Worked for me. heh,heh

From a few of your postsI wouldthink more a stress or depression problem. Diet does affect the quality and quantity of sleep.

That's probably it right there. If you aren't sleeping straight through then you won't be as well rested.

Get checked out for "sleep Apnea" (I'm not sure if that's how its spelled its pronounced Ap-Knee-uh)

What is it?
When you are in REM, your body slows down too much - you take a breath once every 30 - 60 seconds. When you are in REM you get your best rest. Since your breathing has slowed down so much you can't actually rest as well. Ah forget about the explanation. A friend of mine had the exact same thing happen to him, he was always on the verge of sleep and a full nights sleep did him no good. If it persists, get checked out and doctors can help.
