Does it exist?

I generally use Nero 7 premium or something. But making an mp3 on a dvd...i'm finding i've got a lotta songs from cd's that were numbered in order to keep their original order. When i put them to burn onto my cd, obviously they wanna group them by number which i don't like.


Is there a software out there that'll let you do something outta alphabetical order???

 

well i dont think i have an answer for you but. i use nero software as well to burn mp3 cds. i hate how it puts them in order and I cant re arrange them :P so it its lets say 30 songs, ill go into the tedious task of re entering the title of the mp3 file via properties, by putting numbers on the front of them to get the order i want..of course for cds that have lets say 200 songs i usually just arange the songs in folders that are numbered, to get some order in my music. not the best way but meh

 

Phatnoise, the burning software that comes with Kenwood Excelon series decks, will let you arrange tracks in any order you like....get it here:

Hmmm may have to look into that.

Took me 5 hours to make a decent mp3 cd...almost the absolute max files....1023 files (including folders) on the disc...so it should be hot, except i didn't realize something about the folders, and now wish instead of a-g i woulda said a-g rap or a-g country etc.

none the less, 50hours of straight listening to music (assuming each song is 3min long)...that'll do until i can afford an IPOD

 

roxio media creator 8 does you can do cool things like make meus in any order you want....dvds burns and rips them for you ....the only thing it's a big fat memory hog...i have 4 gig of ram in my computer now and well it bogs that down.........im running a 3.7 p4 dual core............so my computer is a new as it gets so be prepared to get mad when using this program but try it it might be what you are looking for
