Question child internet/computer monitoring software

Hey Folks,

My parents have a 14yo foster child who's apparenlty racked up a long distance phone bill talkin to some 19 year old dude from a vancouver that she supposedly met on msn or something.

I don't have kids, but i think it's minorly funny. I told them to lock her up and throw away the key. Anywho, apparenlty thats not an option. Social worker suggested some internet/computer monitoring software.

Does anyone have any suggestions for this? I tested out some spector safe 6.0 or something and that seemed pretty funny, although it costs money. Anyone know of any free stuff and if not, anyone have anything they paid for that they really like? Is there anything neat the software does? Anything it can't do that you wish it could??

Thanks!

Read this:Klaaskids Cyber Safety - Preventing Interent Crimes Against Children

If you spend even one hour researching this, and realize the staggering number of missing kids (including teens), "funny" is not a word you will use any longer.

Thumbs up

Net Nanny got top marks from the folks at Consumer reviews.....as a parent of teenagers I feel public castration with garden shears is an acceptable way of dealing with internet stalkers, but maybe I'm being too liberal.......

'Nuff said.....

I have ParetoLogic on my computer.....I have a 9 year old daughter to monitor and this program shows me everything that she does

we also talk to her on a regular basis about internet stalkers and the do's and do nots
there still is the little worry there though but we think we have a handle on it
