Christmas gifts under $75
Christmas gifts under $75
Hey folks
I'm struggling this year, gotta buy gifts for the below people but need some help/ideas:
1 brother
1 mother
1 father
1 brother and his wife
Limit we've set is about $50.
I was thinkin a 7" digital photo frame for the mom....moms love pictures and related....and it's not tooo expensive. 7" ain't overly big, but i'm not made of money either.
Brother, i'm fairly unsure what to do, likes to drink/party, has a newish 07 jetta tdi, not huge into car stereo's.....
Dad likes computers and stuff, has a shitty old inspiron 8100, as well works at home hardware and loves the handyman stuff. Likes useless gadgets n gizmo's recently bought a satelitte radio and garmin gps. No idea what to buy him though.
Brother and wife combo, recently bought a house, he's an aircraft mechanic, they got a pair of dogs, big truck, married for about 6months now - NO clue what to get them. Maybe something for the house (which i've never seen),but no idea what for $50.
The women - not mentioned above, but i think i've got them covered.

OK - i gotta be honest...you guys aren't helping much so far heh. But thats OK.
Ended up with some expensive *** digital photo frame thingy, but it's neat. So mom is down.
I'm looking at satellite radio for my bro. He does a lot of driving around AB to and from work sites, some kinda up towards north like fort mcmurray, and then some down to calgary. I was thinkin satellite radio he could just take from vehicle to vehicle and have it work off whatever radio frequency.
I'm noaw at the debate of sirius vs xm. I liked the Delphi xpress rc
Delphi XpressRC Plug-and-play XM satellite radio with color split screen Includes a car kit at Crutchfield.com
color is neat!
from Sirius, there were a couple but i guess the equivalent is the sportster 5
SIRIUS Sportster 5 Dock-and-play satellite radio with car accessories at Crutchfield.com
both around $130 i guess.
Bro loves sports, so NHL, football or MLB would be kinda nice (NHL first n foremost). Any reason to lean one way or another?

Satellite radio is great, I love mine, I've had both XM and Sirius, went with Sirius for the Howard Stern factor, but I hear XM is slightly better for the sports and is a little cheaper monthly.....just not sure I'd give a gift that would cost them a monthly fee without knowing for sure they wont mind paying it.
