Damn Snow Go AWAY!!
Soo yeah I live in London, and it decides he lets snow like a bitch, wife takes me to work it's all good, she goes to work goes to pull in car keeps sliding she's doing about 10-15km maybe she can't member exactly.... smokes the curb now the car sounds like it drives with a flat even though there isn't one, if you go over 40 the car wants to drive somewhere else... what would cause the flat tire sound when there is not flat? And I could see the tie rod being bent but other damage to do you think there could be, and what costs would you think I can expect to pay?
She smacked the front right, she got a quote over phone possible Control arm, and the thumping could be wheels bearing crushed?/ who knows but looking at the most 1 grand, the least like 500$.... it's being towed to the dealership now...
yeah that's what I am thinking something bent.. cause the outside of the rim/tire wife looked at it and seemed fine but since with the snow she couldn't look under... have to wait till 2morrow and find out whats the deal with it.... F'in pisses me off...like I need a damn 1000$ headache again.....
most front drives will bend the frame connecting the lower control arm to the body(weakest spot)
the noise is the C/V joint bottomed into it's socket.it'll cost you around $200 to have the frame pulled at a good frame shop.
be sure to check the lower control arm for damage ,as well as the ball joint(bent stud). check for paint flaking or peeling, replace any with signs of damage.

Soo yeah today the dealership calls, Lower Control Arm, Spindle and until they test drive to see it may need a new hub as well... soo it's around the 1300$ range for 3 parts that's nuts... ahh well should have the car back 2morrow... should be nice not having to drive with the wheel cranked 180 degrees to keep it straight...
