Considering labour costs at Mechanics shops let alone at dealerships,I have been contemplating starting a new business in a Do it Yourself Garage.
I will provide computer readers and eprom codes, and possibly have a licensed mechanic or apprentice that you can hire for assistance along with repair resources.
I wonder if any of you will consider using this service instead of taking your vehicle to a shop?

Yeah that is for the one that is in Brampton now. If you can get in there, the guy that runs it is not the most organized of people. LOL Last time I was there I waited 45 mins for him to clear the snow away from the door. Then had to wait another 1/2 hour for him to make enough room to get my car in so I had room to work. There used to be one in south Etobicoke too. Closed down years ago, was the best one I have seen for a DIY garage. Well lit, and clean, lots of tools to rent as well. They were only $10/ hour or $50 for the whole day. If I could find something like that in Toronto area I would be there every Saturday. LOL
^If you advertised that people could do stereo installs there too, that would likely bring people in.
I remember in Saskatoon there was a place that had U-FIX painted in big letters on the roof.
And of course Arnie used a place like this to fix up Christine...

There is a garage up in Milton. $100 per month...heated...24 hr security (key pad to get in)...gated.
It's more for long term (winter) storage. Holds about a dozen cars with plenty of space to work on your car (and can put up shelving)...comes with hoist...electricity...air lines...water.
Few guys in the club have their Camaro's there doing engine work on them.
One of those (well kept) secrets
