I've got two of those TV's. A 20" for the bedroom and a 27" for the cottage. Acutally I got them at Wal-mart. Their house brand "Symphonic".

Good solid cheap TV's. You get what you pay for. They're not bad at all. With the 27" you get component video input, so its more flexible if you're going to hookup a DVD player.

The tv's i looked at at walmart were really bad I dunno if it was a loose connection on a bunch of them or to much use or something but they had fuzzy and half 'snow' screens they werent clear at all. I'm alwayz edgy on buyin somethin i cant see the quality of like it was at Crappy Tire, couldn't see any of them on you know? I'll take a look at that brand u said again maybe at a different walmart, I'm plannin on makin a future shop stop too.

Main uses for the tv is to watch tv, dvds and play ps2. Dvds through the ps2.

Unfortunately I need to go cheap cuz of school but I can't stand sharin a tv especially if I dont like the roommate also when i wanna watch a movie or play a game i dont wanna have to wait lol

Nothing you look at within Wal-Mart is going to look good. They don't use any special quality connections or gear when they hook up their TV's. Also, I wouldn't buy RCA either but it certainly is no worse than the brands you are looking at. Like the one dude said, you get what you pay for. If you are just looking for a cheap TV go out and see which one you think looks the best. Be it an RCA or Sylvania, APEX, With any low end TV you're not going to see a huge performace difference. (Usually)

Toshiba is where its at. Very good quality and decently priced. I would sooner buy a used Toshiba than a new 'Primus' or cheap TV.

I have the new Toshiba 36" Flat - very nice indeed!

With the limited price you have and the warranty that is offered by Wally World, that's where I would be looking. If it breaks under the warranty period, no headaches at all, no and no pushy salesclerks who will sell you extended warranty. Wally World is not set up to properly view most of their sets, if the pic looks good to you when you have it at home, then that is all that counts.

Just buy the cheapo TV at Wal-mart. Set it up, play with it for a few days and if you don't like it, put it back in the box and take it back. They have a generous return policy.

I had a crap 19" TV from there go bad, I took it back 8 months later and they couldn't care less about kicking out a new one. I returned that one and put the money towards a flat screen instead.
