Don't **** with Russia!
I got this in an email today... and think it's awesome, so I'm sharing.
****
This videotape shows Russian Navy commandos on a Somalian pirate ship shortly after the pirates had captured a Russian oil tanker. The Euro Union navy that patrols these waters would not interfere because they feared there could be casualties.
All explanations are in Russian with a single exception of when a wounded pirate says something in English and the Russian soldier says "This is not a fishing boat". All conversations between the commandos are in Russian. If you don't understand Russian, the pictures speak for themselves.
The soldiers freed their compatriots and the tanker. The Russian Navy Commandos moved the pirates back to their own (pirate) ship, searched the pirate ship for weapons and explosives and then they left the ship and exploded it with all remaining pirates hand-cuffed to it.
The commandos sank the pirate ship along with the pirates and without any court proceedings, lawyers etc. That is, they used the anti-piracy laws of the 18th and 19th centuries where the captain of the rescuing ship has the right to decide what to do with the pirates. Usually, they were hung.
I would think from now on, Russian ships will not be targets for Somalian pirates..............................Hmmm, Ya Think?
Now be honest... how many of you double checked to see if Yuli was the on that posted this?
Yuli... translate some of that for us... anything interesting other than "This is not a fishing boat!"

Russians don't play. The US would be the same, but they got the unlucky role of becoming world police, putting them in the public eye all the time, so in order to stay politically correct they can't act they way we all want them to, which leaves Russia to pick up the slack. Just be happy it wasn't Canada or we might have brought them here and gave all the pirates refugee status.

well for the first 3 mins russian dudes just communicating to each other about the types of weapons they are finding on the pirate boat.
one guy called pirates Arabs.
after the first shot at the boat the guy says "That's it?" after the second explosion they are like "Yah that's the im talking about!!" and "No need for another shot"
and then they praise the guy was responsible for setting up the explosion and one guy says "good job, you should be a fireman" (pretty funny actually).
followed by "well, that's it, those guys are fukking done, fukking stinkies"
shortly after they begin to wonder how come it's still burning so much and realize that it must have been full of fuel, which they obviously didnt check before blowing it up. and one guy says "ah fukk it, what are you gonna do about it now? I'm sure it will sink at some point."
and in the last minute they just admire their work and how pretty the fire looks.
yah russians arent the type of people you want to mess with when it comes to an armed conflict. they will fukk you up, even if they loose in the end they will still fukk you up pretty good in the proccess. look at afganistan, that place never recovered.
PS. I'm Ukranian.

lol yah yah.
this isnt the first time russian navy did something like this with the pirates.
there was another case when pirates captured a russian boat and russian navy pulled a Rambo on them - showering the pirates with automatic fire from AK rifles while circling them in a helicopter.
there is a number of reasons why russian navy/army implements these sort of tactics that you would only see in a movie. one of those reasons being the fact that "pirates" are taken far from serious in the russian culture in general. when they go on these rescue missions they plan how they are going to kill the pirates this time around before they even get there.
they get as much laughs and enterntaiment from killing pirates as many of us would from kicking mickey mouse in the groin. it's bad but would still crack you up.
