firefox troubles....clicking home creates a new tab

So...i dunno if this is a firefox 2.0 thing or what. But my homepage is set to www.CanadianCarAudio.com of course. If i click the home button four times, i get four extra tabs (on top of the one i'm using) that go to "Mozilla Firefox Start Page". Inside there is basically just a google search box, ntohing else.

There's no reason for this though, i've been all through the prefernces and can't find anything to change this. New links are set to open in the same tab, so i dunno. Anyone else have this problem, or better yet a solution?

I'm running 2.0 and no problems here. If you've searched high and low in the settings and you have your tabs thing set up right, maybe an uninstall and reinstall would do the trick. If you're out of ideas.
