Just found this, and it appears to work. I think it is just a 'backdoor' type deal to carfax.

loooks legitimate....sorta....like to try it on a vehicle with some known issues, everything with mine checked out....

had buddy try it with his truck

foudn his registration...but didn't find any registration for 89-2004...which was kinda strange....that registration shoulda showed in BC, but didn't.

are you sure you typed in your vin correctly?

 

hmm...still works for me on random ebay cars...
