So what are you guys using in your manual transmissions? I am thinking of going with Redline MT90 or Amsoil Series 2000 75w90...depending on which ever I can get cheaper?

Well when I like to put into 5th gear, I like to have a lube that can handle it, but if I feal the need to go easy, I need a lube that can feal the same but smoother and last longer.. I forget the brands though... Should try it though.

Heh I use ATF (automatic tranny fluid) in my manual tranny!
Serious!
Its a fullsize 93 Ford F150 with the weak *** Mazda tranny (M5OD) and yes from the start its taken ATF. All I can say about this thing is that the next time I blow it im just going to replace it with the ZF and be done with the weak thing ( Jeeze it doesn't like 35's?! on its 5th rebuild )

I trust Quaker State.

I also trust Full-synthetics, Mobil 1 specifically, but I am not sure if they make a Manual Tranny Gear oil. All I know is that the Mobil-1 sponsored NASCAR driver ran for 30 laps with no oil due to a cracked oilpan a few races ago. If that isnt advertising, I dont know what is.
