I currently use Intervideo win dvd creator 2 but it only seems to make widescreen movies..is there any programs out there to turn those sort of movies into full screen movies?

try DVD shrink and DVD decrypter... both are free and work great

Roxio 7 does full screen

You are trying to copy a full screen movie, right ? ;)

ZachCHartwell 05-31-2005 10:00 AM

no. The thing is they all seem to be widescreen and when they burn to dvd they take up maybe an 1/4 of my tv screen and i dont like it.

Suck it up princess. ;)

When you get a real tv you'll be happy its in widescreen!

Jmac 05-31-2005 12:08 PM

I haven't tried it, but I don't think you can convert a widescreen movie to fullscreen ... Even if you could, you couldn't do it without compressing making it look compressed horizontally ...

If you want it to take up more of your screen, zoom in ... although, you should be aware that you'll lose even more picture to the side ...

Blinddemonz 05-31-2005 02:40 PM

I don't believe its possible to convert something thats already wide screen into full screen. Unless maybe you get some serious editing software and stretch the image. I go with JRace's theory. When you get a real tv you'll be happy its in widescreen. I only buy widescreen dvd's. The only time I EVER buy full is when its only offered in full screen. can't stand full screen.

Spend the extra money and just buy the movie. Or whatever it is you're trying to rip.

Ive done it, but it will take like 4-6 hours or more depending on your computer. You need to do a bunch of crazy **** to it. Demuxing and such. I can go into more detail if your seriously Interested.

well there is an easy fix (not perfect but it does work)hit the zoom 1 time on your dvd player and there you go movies are ment to be watched in wide screen though
