Good for a laugh
For the record......
When XSCargo sold a pile of those woofers a few years ago, a few friends and I bought a pair each of the SVC and DVC 10's, a pair of SVC 12's, 2 pairs of the DVC 12's and 2 systems worth of the Clif Designs amps. The amps ranged from 25W X2 all the way up to the 1,800W Class 'D' sub amp.
The speakers were all priced between $20 to $35 each and for the price they worked out pretty well.....in sealed boxes built to spec they were OK, it took a few tries to find the right size for ported but they hit pretty good......the amps seemed to do OK and both systems are still in daily use.....
For someone looking for comps on a budget, they still have Clif Designs 5.25" and 6.5" sets for sale.....I think they are asking $39 and $59 respectively, 6X 9's are $79.......not too bad for the bucks......
$150 even including a badly made enclosure does seem a little high tho.....
