I'm just wondering if anyone has seen gullwing doors (like on the enzo, slr, etc...) modding on to everyday cars. I kinda want to put them on my rx-7 but don't know if it's possible.

They're not $5000 in 95% of the instances.

Most companies have them for $1500 or so. google it and see what you find. The ones I brought were used.. I paid $500 for mine.

Also.. check with the local car forums to see which ones fit and which dont.. some need extensive modification.. others need to have the whole fender to be removed in order to install the hinges right.

You'll be lucky to find them used.. but its worth a try. There's a few RX7 forums out there I know. Check there.

 

mercedes says the doors on the slr are gullwing and since they made gullwing doors in the first place I don't think they are wrong.


I'm not looking for lambo doors I want to get doors like the slr and the only doors you can buy are lambo's and I'm with and rx-7 board and nothing.
