Hard Drive Failures (two in one month) - need parts. HELP!
A client of mine had two Seagate Barracuda 500GB 7200.10 drives fail, one 3 weeks ago and the other just yesterday. The on-board electronics were faulty and I was able to retrieve the data by soaping out circuit boards from one of my personal drives.
Does anyone now if I can get a replacement circuit boards for both drives. Seagate's warranty is up and Seagate doesn't sell parts! Circuit Board info: Seagate:100355589 TYCO 100344105 Chip info 10040225 Seagate Thanks J |
