They are now on strike.
All parcels already in their system will still be delivered on time.
At least that's what they said in the news this AM.

 

Seems I've heard nothing but word of strikes happening, not only with UPS, but with many businesses around here too.

I hope it's resolved quickly.

 

yea they tried to advance as much volume as possible this weekend, but i know at our building theres roughly 10,000 packages minimum that arent getting touched, some none union employees are running international air packages to minimize impact on forgein accounts.... but i wouldnt hold my breath on packages being on time in the ground system, but union leaders and management are meeting in TO as we speak hopefully something will come of it fast, rumor has it UPS lost 9-15million on friday alone due to not picking anything up.

 

well after meeting all night last night a tenative agreement has been reached so business as usual effective tomorrow
