so UPS doesnt pocket the whole brokerage fee and laugh to the bank, they might make a couple bucks a shipment but the rest goes to mr martin and his buddies to **** away in the next adscam.....
also UPS owns numberous brokerage houses and we are relatively uneffected by the customs strike as they only inspect a small percentage of our overall volume, usually the only time we have lengthly delays due to customs is a paperwork error on the part of the shipper, ie no declared value, or an incorrect value/description of goods.
