I was just talking to a guy from yellowknife (way up north) and apparently buffalo are still wild all over the place up there. It's too far inland for polar bears and seals though :(

Whitehorse and yellowknife both have a few wild herds of buffalo around.

I think its closer to Fire Lake, maybe Toad river that has the herd? On the Alaskan highway anyhow.

Beautiful animals. We sat and watched them for a few minutes untill a black bear wandered over and promptly got his butt chased off.

Think I still got some pictures of that trip here somewhere. 6 days to go to BeaverCreek Yukon from Penticton hauling a mobile home.

Thats awesome Joe, my sisters friend has a dog the size of a polar bear and looks like a polar bear, to no surprise they named the dog Polar but the dog was HUGE! Made my sisters blacklab look tiny lol.
