I dropped almost $4k on a leather couch and chair at the Brick. Would I recommend them? Myeh I dunno. Besides the mega-high pressure sales dude and their Buyer Protection Plan being a total scam of approx. $30/month, I guess the experience was okay. The quality of the furniture set is beautiful so I know I got something good but dealing with the Brick sux.

You don't have an Ikea near by, do you? I picked up a desk, chair, 4 speaker stands for like $300 bucks and it wasn't that bad.

Why do you figure its DUMB? The wife and I dropped a shade over 3k on a Sofa/Loveseat/Chair/footrest set last year. I think its a pretty damn good investment IMO. The furnature your gonna have every day for the next 10+ years and its somthing your using everyday, I have had very ****ty furnature up until this point and now I really enjoy coming home from work and planting my ass on my new couch.

That's a great deal. Hell my sectional was $2500..

Four thousand dollars for a couch and chair is a LOT of bux... I'm not a fan of leather though anyway

I dunno but I've had my ass in that $4000 set and it did not feel any more special than the $500 loveseats we have in our family room It looks nice though and what the hell - he's got the money...

Check with your local auctioneer's for estate auctions, sometimes you can pick up brand new stuff for next to nothing, but the down side is that it could take awhile to find everything.
