Im scared......
I dont mean to be a **** but taking a pre-employment program is kind of a waste. I took a pre-employment coursefor my carpentry and pretty much had nothing to do with my apprentice and I ended up having to take the four years anyway.....I'm now in my third year of my apprentice which in essence should have been my last if I went straight to the apprentice program with my previous work in the field before i started the schooling.

Well the pre-employment course im signed up for gives people who have little experience in the feild such as myself the smarts to be able to score a job in auto body repair. The hire rate out of the class is over 97% and at the end of the 6 week course I can challenge the Alberta Apprenticship exam and if I pass then after those 6 weeks I can be considered a second year apprentice.

i need financial stability... then i can go back to school.... either for something photo related (i think it would be awsome to travel the world on someone elses cash and take moving pics, hell id be happy to travel the world and take pics for tourism companies or something then make that step up to the cover of time magazine.... or maxim..... im not too comfortable with people and posing them and whatnot, but im sure i could handle "yea miss aguilera if u could just turn to the left and undo that top button..." lol
either photo or maybe welding/ fabrication ive already got loads of machining experience so that might be the natural step..... damn cash..... no way a student load would pay my rent, car payment, gas, insurance food etc etc and the other junk that makes up my like $1400 in expenses each month....AND cover tuition, books etc...
