I have an ISO of a DVD on my computer and would like to convert it to a .mp4 file so that I can play it on my iPod. Does anybody know how I can do this and which programs I need?
Right now I've got Videora iPod converter and it works great for converting movie files, but i can't figure out what to do with the ISO I've got. Any help is appreciated. |
What exactly is an mp4. I Downloaded an entire season of FAmily guy in mp4 (thought it was mpg) and all I get is sound on the pc when trying to view it.

I'm not really sure what .mp4 is all I know is that iPod's only play videos in that format.
Those programs that came up with that search don't work either I dont think. Maybe it isn't possible to go straight from the ISO to .mp4. When I extract the ISO I get 6 .IFO files. If I convert them all, how will I get them to be 1 file again so the movie just plays straight without any interuptions? |
Maybe convert to an mpeg/avi and then convert to mp4 ?

Good thinkin, I'll give that a try if I can't figure it out.
