It's been a REAL sh*tty day today.
I'm driving down to the lake after waking up this mourning...had my coffe and my smoke, all showered up after I slipped on the bathroom floor and bonked my head.
I get in my beat up Buick and start to drive tothe lake before I have to go to work in a few hours....I get about 3/4 of the way there and there's a very loud crack, and then a thump and then a REALLY loud scrape noise comming from my car...as I hear the thump before the scrape, I loose all my steering doing about 60 down the road towards the lake.
I manage to get the car over to a side street where I am half blocking it because my car turned towards the sidealk and almost smoked a telephone poll. I knew exactly what the problem was as soon as I heard the crack noise earlier. I get out of the car, and sure enough there's the back half of the front sub-frame laying on the ground, along with the motor and my $60 peice of power wire.
F***ing wonderful I thought to myself as about 3 tow-trucks drive by and not one stops to see if I'm ok. I give my dad a call, who was sleeping(midnight shift) and got him to come pick me up after we hooked up a strap to the Explorer and pulled my car off the side of the road. It's really no biggie as I have a Dodge Caravan I'm picking up on the weekend, but I'm beyond pissed at this point, and have about 2 hours to find a temporary vehicle to get to work with. After an hour and a half my dad says, take the truck, but make sure your back by 9-9:30 tonight...ok no problem. I get to work. "Hey Tim" I say. " hey guess what Brandon?" says Tim...."whats up?" Tim says, the computer system is down and we have to wait till about 5-6 oclock to get it fixed.
Well, WTF!....So I sat around all day at work trying not to do anything that could get me in trouble, but I couldn't resist throwing a tape ball at another guy I work with. So we got into a HUGE tape ball war with about 6 other people and right when I threw my tape ball some wind picked up and re-directed my ball into the door of one of the trucks and put a fist sized dent in it. The supervisor calls me onto the carpet and starts into me about being a responsible worker, and all the other things that go along with it. I finnally make it home without another problem, then I find out there's no food in the house and my satellite is down AGAIN.
So here I sit, venting, cursing under my breath trying to figure out what to do for some food and let me tell you, there's gonna be a world of pain for the first grouchy person I meet as I make my way to McDonalds about 10mins walking distance away.
Can anything else go wrong today? I need a very long vacation(or a very large bullet).

Seriously, nothing has gone right today. Nothing.
It doesn't matter what I do, or even if I'm only involved in a small way, something f***s up and and I end up taking the heat, or loosing in some way. It's a bloody nightmare.
I'm going to bed, things have to get better tomorrow, I think this day has already hit rock bottom.
