Imports rule! The good thing is unless heavily modified, the car is probably in great condition. Speed limits in Japan don't usually get over 80 km/h. Import companies from Edmonton and Calgary also offer decent prices for the cars, and they have low mileage! Try finding a decently priced honda with low kms in canada...its impossible.

I want to know if the insurance is alot more, on say an imported CRX or something, does anyone know?

no.. its exactly the same.. if the car was never imported here.. such as a Skyline.. then the insurance companies will want a vehicle apprasial... from that they will estimate your insurance cost in accordance to the vehicle value.

Drives me nuts that you have to wait the full 15 years (to the month) before you can import a car it'll be march 2008 before I can bring mine here.

That's cool. I never even thought about getting a GTO from Japan. Even to bring up a 3000GT from the states, 91ish, twin turbo/AWD, expect to pay 10k american at least. Plus all the bull****
