Hi everybody

I am a Canadian who just recently moved to panama and picked myself up a 1998 jeep wrangler soft top

I am looking to make a project out of this as a daily driver any advice on products, tip etc would be appreciated. I will be taking pictures and posting my progress as i go along


Some requirements

DVD/divx/hard drive
Iphone/doc either through blue tooth or doc
hands free calling and built in nav that can take a garmin chip from panama

Weather resistant box and speakers as i hope to have the top off most of the time (not sure to have a box or built in)

Easy removal if its a box so if I am picking up people from the airport I can stow their luggage

Some sort of remote security as Panamanians are crooks

my budget for this project is 3000 USD

I think I got the head end taken care of I'm looking at Kenwood DDX8032B any one own one of these? it meets the requirements that i was looking at and a touch screen too boot
