I know you carry the adire audio subs, as i just ordered one and it's still backordered (damn't). But what i'm interested in is if by chance you've ever gotten to hear (or sell which i don't think you do) their home audio subs.

I'm interested in their rava (i beileve thats it's name) i'm just not huge on buyin speakers i've never heard before.

As well if anyone else on the board has any experience with this sub, i'd love to hear it!

are you talking about the shiva? If you are, then you won't be dissappointed, it's a good sub for the money.

ok...so it would appear so, or another gentlemen mentioned you can kinda upgrade that to some DPL12 driver for another $25 but i dunno enough about speakers to realize what the differences are and what they mean.

Either way it's 250w in a sealed box.

 

I'm not completely sure how a dipole system works, but it's supposed to have a passive radiator facing the opposite direction of the subwoofer, IIRC.

Not sure if the DPL12 is acutally used in a Dipole application with the Rava, though ...

Shipping is great cause their one province over... I've bought a Tempest, a Shiva and an AVA250 from there and each time the shipping took ~2 days.

 

apparenlty this was a $25 option from the old adire website (according to a gentlement off sounddomain.com). So i've emailed them to verify as well as check on the differences between the two.

I've never had much luck emailing them in the past, but we'll see what this does.
