Kenworth vs Dodge Minivan
I havent been on the board in a few weeks. Car audio isnt important right now.
Let me give all of you some advice. If you are ever in a position where you have a choice between hitting a tractor or swerving in to a ditch or field, take the field.
She hit dead center (fuel tank) at 50 mph. Perfect T bone. Then bounced back a good 20 feet through the air. The truck moved maybe 1 foot. Thats it.
Truck is a write off (05 Kenworth). Bent frame, turbo is resting on pass side frame rail, entire cab is tilted about 6". Insurance company wrote it off yesterday.
We all carry cameras so yes I have pictures of the truck, but since she did not live, I dont feel its appropiate to post them.

Wow I take it you were driving the KW. Being in the industry myself I know what kind of damage can be caused. I have 2 trucks in my yard right now that were written off due to jacknifes that don't look pretty. Fortunately they were single vehicle accidents and both drivers made it without any scratches. My thoughts will be with you and the family of the woman.

If you have trucks, you know what they weigh and how they are built. I personally walked off the distance when the mini van bounced back through the air. It was over 20 feet actually.
Drivers side fuel tank ruptered of course, all lines running down that side got smushed, and like I said, the turbo was crammed up against pass side frame. Alternator was also pushed on to the frame and rubbed itself round.
Did I mention the truck started on fire?
You know the 4 batts are under the drivers side step. It crusehed them all and pinched every wire there.
The fire started on the pass side cubby, inside really, but enough to blister the paint halfway up the truck, pass side.
I dont even know if we can buy it back and get a glider.
Bellhousing cracked in half and on and on and on.
Was hooked but empty, 53ft.
It was foggy. She blew the light. No brake marks whatsoever.
Only 39 too.

Thanks, and yes.
