Light replacement on a Grand Cherokee
Light replacement on a Grand Cherokee
Hey folks
I know not many of you are actual grand cherokee owners, but i thought i'd ask this all here anyways.
I was walkin outta BP's the other day, after using the remote starter to start it. As i'm walkin to it, i noticed the clear corner lens that i replaced about 1.5yr's ago on the passenger side is burnt out. (Thats the lens you replace to go from yellow to white). The wider horrizontal light below it still works, and thus the signal lights are still valid.
My question is, to get that light working can i replace a bulb or do i have to replace that whole assembly including the lens??? (I'm thinkin you should be able to replace the bul;b, but i thought i remembed the housing all being one with a light - maybe thats just me though).
Second question, waiting outside Mr Sub for my brother, i noticed one of my fog lamps seemed to not be as bright on the wall. Walked out to look at them only to find out that the right lamp wasn't on at all. It had also lost the lens (fell off a while back) so it's not 100% surprising. What i'm wondering, is there any lights i can upgrade to that would be a direct replacement fit-wise???
See the following photo to see the exact lights i'm talking about (note, it's somewhat large about 700kb in size)

Here's a pic of how the foglamps actually connect to the vehicle: (again sorta big closer to 2.5mb in size)

Any help is much appreciated.

for the fog lamps...i definitely wanna replace the whole lamp....a pair of new, something that'll maybe blind animals when off roading, or just something brighter than factory preferably. I don't much use em for actual fog.
As far as the corner marker light...thats where i'd like to replace just the bulb if possible....

As for the corner marker lights, if you look carefully, you should see small screws that are the same color (black) I believe as the bezel holding it in place (around the outer edge), and then you will be able to replace the bulb inside.... it should be a 194 or a 194a bulb.
