Great movie. Even better soundtrack.
Has one of the best first five minutes of any movie since "Super Troopers".

Has Hollywood lost it's sense of originality, I mean whats with all the remakes of old movies, The original Longest Yard was no big hit to start with. And the original "Italian Job" is 10 times better than the remake, and same goes to the original "Flight of the Phoenix".., what's next, "Porky's" ?

And now they're bringing in Bewitched, this is a bad deja vu .
Cereal, there's so much out there, especially in new music, that is a remake of older rock or R&B/disco songs, not just movies.

 

I didn't mind the show at all, unfortunately the old version was on tv at about 3am 2 nights ago when i couldn't sleep, so and they were damn near identical, so i pretty well knew what was gonna happen at each point of the show.

Still a solid show, which part was the best 5min according to you?

As for the soundtrack, they played a ton of hot songs in the movie, but i'm not a huge fan of the soundtrack. Least not yet, maybe after some more listening i'll aqquire a taste for it.

 

obviously my fav was the first 5 minutes of the football game. Some of those hits were crazy.

 

I like the remakes. Brings a piece of history back and gets the young to go back to the originals and watch them. If it wasn't for remakes half if not more of society today wouldn't even realize there was an original.
