I went to college in 1995 and my favorite dance song was one that I can't remember the name of, or the group.

It came out on a mix compilation on TAPE!!!

At first I thought it was a D.J. Line, or Various Artists, but I've been looking for weeks and nothing.

I "think" the name of the song had Tribe, Tribal or People, Tribal People or something of that nature.

What it's not:

Snap
Dr. Alban
Culture Beat
La Bouche
Enigma
Mr. President

It's not a mainstream group name, I know that for sure.

I have made a clip of the rythm on my keyboard for you to hear.

If anyone can help me out, that would be great, it's driving me nuts!!!

Can't listen to the video (wifes still sleeping) but there was a group "A tribe called Quest". Back when NAS and Busta were young they called their group "A tribe called quest" This is the only group I can think about from 95 that had anything with tribe in it.
