Amp acting weird
Hy peoples. Recently I took my amp in for repairs, because my RCA prongs broke off into the connectors. I've noticed now when I have my music turned up my bass would now after a certain volume burps itself until I tint the bad **** all the way down.. if I turn down the main volume on the deck it does nothing for the bass burp. The only way to stop it from burping is to turn down the bass **** the comes with the amp... It's a 1200.1 super class D amp. Its Hiphonics 35 aniversery amp. I have the gain turned up all less than half and the bass booster a little more than than half . Can someone please tell me if this is normal for amps to behave this way when turned up really loud and also I forgot to mention I have a soundstream bd bass modulator on 2 audiobahns 12 old school flame serious and a car audio battery properly fused. Is it something the tech did while repairing the amp or is it how these new age amp work? .. I might have $300cnd for a new amp if nessary and what's a good one for my budget? I have a 4gauge wires setup and do not do the alternator to positive battery terminal yett but every thing else is grounded. Thanks

It kind of sounds like you don't have things adjusted right. I would turn the gain down some, and also turn the bass **** down too. Does it go away?
You might be just putting the amp into clipping
