Hey guys. Any online places that you get good deals on mufflers? Prefer in Canada? Driverfx.ca has the dynomax for $500cdn, my dad likes the sound of them. Any other places that might be cheap, willing to buy from the US only if its going to save some coin.

should be one muffler on that car, why dont you just change the muffler - any custom shop should be able to do it for you and only cost a few bucks ($60 at absolute MOST !! assuming you have your own muffler and its the correct fit [offset center or offest offset depending on what you need])

the stock system is stainless steel so you might want to get a stainless muffler, also when they install the new muffler they most likely will have to add a bit of pipe (aftermarket muffler might be shorter) - ask for stainless pipe to be uses ( should still be with in the $60)

a "no name" performance muffler should be about $125 give or take if you look you`ll find them for much less

magnaflow makes a bolt on cat back for that system if i remember right, borla as well.

any other questions ask away (i install mufflers every day)

the dynomax one I was looking at was bolt on as well, I think increased pipe size as well. My dad likes the idea of it being able to come off so we can put the stock system back on because it is a leased car as well.

if you get just a muffler installed or a complete cat back system bent up tell the shop you want to keep the stock system

if you give the car back you can get them to install the old system (should be cheap)

Ummm, are you sure $500 for the Dynomax is for real or is that a typo?

$500 sounds like a cat back system or something. Mufflers, even big brands, don't usually cost that much....maybe up to $200-$250....most are $75-$175.
