Hey y'all... Anyone here in southern ontario have some good connections for buying mountain bikes? My poor old machine has pretty much had it, wheels are warped, bearing races are toast, and it's like 15 years old.. I bought my Fiancee a Gary Fisher Marlin last summer, and dang it's smooth...
Anyways, if anyone has any connections, please let me know... dave@ofsoundmind.com or dmac@pasmag.com |
Sorry, I don't know of any places to hook you up.
I will say, buy Canadian. My personal favorites are Rocky Mountain and Davinci. (Davinci is a bit expensive though, not such a big company) What type of riding do you do? Serious hardcore offroading or just take it out on longweekends? Oh yeah, stay away from Raleigh. The cheap-out on a lot of components. |
Sears Catalogue has mountain bikes on sale (I'll know for sure tonight when Im in at 7pm-12am) I'd help yeah out with my discount if they ever had anything good that I know of, cept u'd still lose out on shipping and end up payin the same dude.

Don't buy from Sears (no offense xtreme) Those bikes are two year throw aways. If you've riden a Gary Fisher, you will never be satisfied with anything from Canadian Tire, WalMart, Zellers, Sears etc. - you need to purchase from a bike shop.
