Need for Speed most wanted - corrupt profile - anyone have one i can use???
 

Hey folks.....played a lotta NFS most wanted....and lately my computer locked as i was entering. Forced to reboot, my profile went corrupt. I tried a system restore on the off chance that it might somehow restore those files, but....no such luck.

I was up against racer #4...just starting that level, had almost 400k in cash about 5 cars, the best of which was my gallardo that was almost as fast as a car could be in that game. Also had some ridiculous bounty that woulda got me past the level 3 bounty requirements i think. Anywho, i'm not sure exactly where, but i'm sure the profile info is stored in a specific folder in the program files folder. If anyone has a profile that is sorta similar, or at a similar point in the game that they'd care to send my way that'd be fantastic. I can't fathom the thought of having to redo those 11 levels (rather time consuming) but i'd really like to pass the game.

Let me know ifyou can help me out, i'm not sure exactly which files or which folder holds the profile info but yeah....if you can help grab me on msn or email or private message or just post here or whatever.

That sucks BIG TIME man :( Sorry about your luck. In this case next time if you find someone with a saved game, save your game in two locations one being the spare incase it happens again :(.

Goodluck, would hate for you to have to start over again in that game, can be quite frustrating. I'd help but I only have it for PS2 and I can't find the damn game right now :(
