Ooh - big night for me...
The wife works so I get to go to the neighbors with the kids - wouldn't be SO bad cuz they can be alright but I KNOW they will have her best friend Moron-da and her husband Lou-botomy over so I'm sure to be bored out of my FREAKING skull while I pound back a couple dozen beer attempting to get into a drunken stupor to escape what will inevitably be the dumbest conversation in history.
I should just stay home and get the kids to kick me in the bag repeatedly - it'd be more fun
Being all-growed-up sucks *** - go get drunk and party while you can

I've got a 6 month old who wakes us up every morning at 6:30 . . . we were planning on hitting the hay at 10:30 just to enjoy the sleep . . . then one of my wife's friends from University called up and invited us to her brother's girlfriends house where we will know nobody, but since my wife wants to see her friend we are going, and we will probably be out till 2:30 just to wake up again at 6:30 and start changin' diapers.
I'm feel old - new years is not something I look forward to. I would rather sleep.
