paint shops in the GTA.
paint shops in the GTA.
Well i have been putting it off for a while now. I looking for a good paint shop but with good prices. I know the price has to do with how much work needs to be done, but just an average price would help. I got a 2000 Ford exlorer 4 door and lookin to get the paint touched up. I can post photos of the trouble spots but their is not too much. No Dents and no Holes to be found here. I would consider putting a small ad on the back 3 windows if i could get a discount.... hey it never hurts to ask.
Thanks for your help guys and gals

Not sure if you want to go as far East as Oshawa but Ganon's located just off the 401 at the Park Rd exit is absolutely fantastic to deal with. Top notch work and very reasonable. Customer service second to none.
An example: I had them fix/replace the front fender of my car. I noticed shortly after that paint under my door handle was flaking off and I saw they had fixed a scratch on my door when I originally got the car back so I figured they had repainted up near the handle area also. So I called them on the phone about it and they said they would fix it right up and to drop the car off. No hassle and no questions asked.
Well I dropped the car off early in the morning (they weren't open yet) and they called me in the afternoon to say the car was ready. I picked it up and they had stripped the entire door and repainted/rebadged it all up. This is the good part: they hadn't touched the door when it originally came in for the fender. They saw the scratch on the door and fixed it up without charging me since it was already in the shop (or even mentioning it to me for that matter). The flaking paint was the work of the body shop who fixed my car 2yrs previous (don't ever go to CK Collision).
So Ganon's could have easily taken a look at the car and said "we didn't paint your door when we had it all we did was fix up the scratch that we saw you had there" and sent me back to the original shop that did the door but instead they took the car in and did all that work just in the interest of incredible customer service.
So for anyone that's in the Durham area and you need a good body shop I would highly recommend Ganon's. It was originally recommended to me by some of my retired GM worker friends and they're great at knowing where the good shops are around.
Oh and if you need a good mechanic I would highly recommend Autoworks on Wilson Rd, Oshawa. Great guys to deal with (and there's a full dyno in there if you want to test out your cars output).
OK I'm done rambling.
