Just a question. I am doing a deal with a guy through ebay. He is telling me that he is setup for paypal but not to accept credit card payments. Is he being honest or just trying to avoud the fees?

Also if I do not have a bank account set up with paypal is there anywat I can transfer money into the account?

Thanks

I thought paypal was strictly credit cards for a start you needed one to register? I could be wrong, I'm just asking.

He is saying that he is not setup to recieve a credit card payment from me.

I know for a fact you can transfer money from a bank account to paypal but it takes a week so for ebay purposes it goes over the time to pay so it is useless.

I just want to find a service where I can pay myself or transfer money from my credit card into my paypl account so I can pay him without it looking like a credit card payment to him so he can accept it

With paypal you can also have your paypal account set up to just draw money from your bank account. Some people dont like to take credit cards because there is a much greater chance of it being a fake or stolen credit card.

Just do email money transfers done on the spot takes like 5 min if that.. then your stuff can be sent to you alot faster then waiting like 3-5 business days.

My Paypal is set up to take money from my credit card. Easy to do and fast. The recipient doesn't even know you've paid with Visa or whatever. To them, it's cash.

With Visa (if you're careful) you get that extra month to pay the bill.

Pay pal does an excellent job of keeping track of all the transactions between the seller/buyer, the payment, and your card.
