for what it's worth, I fear Chow's more than pitbulls, they are agressive ALL the time and their looks make them inviting for people to approach

Nice, they barely have any adjectives and adverbs in that story. If it had been APBT's that were attacking, they would would have used words like "viciously powerful", "bloodthirsty", and "evil" to describe the offending dogs, and words like "saint-like", "family-loving" etc. for the saviour animals. ;)
