hmmm thats what i thought. Yet, i just received a bill in the mail for two shipments made to my brother, both of which are clearly marked receiver.

Now i don't have an acct with puro, nor does my brother who was expecting to pay for the parcels, but just wasn't asked to. Did i do something wrong or can you not simply check the receiver box and expect it to be collect?

No, that would be C.O.D.

Collect is when the reciever also has a puro account. you would mark reviever and put their puro acc# in the account box.

That way the reciever picks up the shipping cost.

You must fill out a puro express cheque to send COD.

You cannot send stuff via Purolator COD internationally for sure. I am not sure about domestically. I tried to send some amps COD to the US and Purolator would not do it. You must have an account with them and be a regular customer, even if you just want the collecter to pay the shipping.

I also tried to go through several other couriors and none of them would ship COD to the US, only domestically and even then you would have to pay for the shipping up front and get reimbursed for it later. You can ship COD from the post office however, but only domestically.
