propane uses about 10% more fuel than gas does...when a gas vehicle is converted to propane anyway.
vehicles ment to drive with propane have better mileage because the compression is higher, wich yield more power and gas mileage...and it can have higher compression because of the higher octane.
I plan on building a turbocharged sprts car that runs on propane...slight drop in mileage can be made up with the fun of 30psi boost on propane.
btw...where the hell do you get propane that cheap?

There are such better ways to get reliable power out of diesels I don't know why anyone does propane.
Well, I actually do know, it's the same reason that people put NOS on stock sunfires

my motor is drug free and staying that way ........
ford guys tend to use propane cause it's a way cheaper way to make power on them, you ever priced out a set of powerstroke injectors
it's cheaper to just buy a bigger set of sticks for a cummins than propane so dodge guys tend to go that way
the newer trucks with unit injectors (ford/dodge/chev) can make more power than most guys will use with just a fueling/timing box

I might pick up the Edge combo for my truck, but I am worried about voiding warranty, especialy since I bought extended. Not sure why I would need 425hp/900fpt but I can't think of a reason why I wouldn't need it either...
Like the fact you can get better mileage as well.

I get my propane from a tank
how about you? Well being a poor old farm boy you avoid paying pump price, when filling up a 2000 litre tank.
