random observations about the world

So its like 5 and I'm getting on the bus with a thought that I thought I'd share with you guys.

Has anyone noticed that at 5 pm it is extremely bright outside for this time of year? Like oddly bright considering the days are supposed to be shorter?

Not sure how it is out west or anywhere else for that matter, I just found it odd and wanted to know if it was the same elsewhere

i have a worldly observation for you.

go to a place with a large size parking lot. be the first one to arrive. park your car. 4 out of 5 people to arrive after you will park their car next to yours, although the parking lot is completely empty.

The days are actaully starting to get longer again.
However the biggest reason for the light being more abundant is simple.
Overcast day, light snow, and light polution.

Here is my random observation for the day. No snow and the stinking rain has been coming down all day, close to 50mm so far and no end in sight. Mother Nature can smooch ala bum.
