HI guys, I was talking with one of my CO-workers the other day about this, and I always thought I was just me that thought this in the past, but: Does the human body react positively to bass freqencies? Some people, myself very much included, happens to LOVE bass, and just really enjoy its low bong-rattling effect. So we were talking about the human bodies nervous system being brought into a esoteric state of relaxation, of certain bass frequencies, pitches, harmonics and such. An Audio engineer told me that 27 hz, at a very loud level, the human body loses all motor function, and as a result, you lose control of the bowels. (A great alternative to Ex-lax, LOL). Apparently, the french in WWII built these huge 40 foot high woofers, that would produce that freq. at very loud levels to make the Russians loose bowel control. The audio engineer is 70 years old now. I dont know if thats true.. is it?
With his doctorate degree, he also told me that the human body and all other living things have an internal resonant frequency. I was told that Humans have a R. Freq. of about 100-150 MHZ. I know that is far from any "Bass" and most living creatures operate on a Sequence of a mathmatical equation called "Fiberaugtchy numbers" Whereas everything from economic trends to earthly weather patterns operates in accordance to these numbers, which are complex groups of fives. Even your heart beat has been proven to mathmatically operate in theis context. I forget the name of the mathmatician that figured this out, but its really interesting. Does anybody know anything about this at all? this stuff sure is cool.

Well for one, why would the French want to make the Russians **** themselves. Maybe you mean for them to use it against Nazi Germany.

The rest of the stuff sounds cool. I'd like to find out more information for sure!

yeah, I forget exactly who used those collusal subwoofers againest who. But it sure was cool, like apparently... (I obviously dont know I wasn't there, Im just going by what he said) some batallion used those subwoofers on a big field againest the opposition that at the time were retreating in their trenches, and it worked great. Grown mean with not so clean trousers supposedly did a fantastic job to weaken morale and so forth. I think this whole Sound waves in relation to human beings and their nervous system sure is an incredibly interesting and diverse subject, and really should be more researched. Back in the 1930's RCA, Small, Jensen, Thiele and Phillips did amazing research, both in width and in depth of the subject. I read some of the books from the 1960's that they produced, it is incredibly intriging of the stuff they already knew about, using mathmatical formulas and what not for everything. Im not to sure if There was just a lack of interest to prevent further studies regarding sound waves to manipulate human sythesis. but anyway... cool stuff eh?

I read up on the brown note stuff once. Also got my hands on the frequency. Its like a white noise but a lot lower. Obviously it wouldnt do anything unless you have a very loud and powerful system. Also, I read a new clip that aid bass was very good for your bones. The low frequencies help heal broken bones and such. It also mentioned that owning a cat is good for your bones too because the cats purr super low too.
Some crazy stuff. I too have heard and read about the huge "Bass Cannons" they used a long time ago.

Also, bass is good for you if you're sick. It'll rattle all the snotout of your stuffed nose so you can breath.
Breathing > not breathing. :D
I think bass is good for you

cool, so that storey about those WWII folk using those 40 FT high woofers is true then? that sounded a little far fetched when I heard it. Since it was WWII. Has anybody heard about that "fiberachy numbers" or exactly how bass freq.s manipulate humans?
