The reason i hate n00bs

So i sold a system to this complete noob that knows nothing about car audio. so i teach him, he asks me to order him an amp ( kicker 600.1) for his 5 year old type R subs. i told him maybe he should be looking for a newer sub. so i ordered him MTX mxs series, the sub sounds really good.

as a good seller that i am i offer him 160$ off the mtx subwoofer if i sell his subs for him becuase he doesnt know anyone.

so i took it apart and noticed one of his subs has alot of cone cracking due to heavy use over the years. and i tell him that the sub doenst have much longer to live and that i can not sell it anymore and defently not worth the 160$.

in return he tells me to go **** my self saying that he gave me good subs and return hes geting cracked subs.. i tell him taht thats the condition he gave them to me. he argues tells me he put them in the box and never noticed the cracks.... i didnt know wat to say i told him thats how it is i didnt touch them so now he tells me to go **** my self again and donest wanna give me the 160$ and take his subs back greattttttttttttt

now im gonna send my dogs after him

My advice is you stop doing people favors. You seem to get shafted. :ohwell:

what do you mean 'cone cracking' and what did you have to take apart to find it ?!?!

those subs use a pressed fiber cone... not sure what could 'crack'.....

Umm seriously, with posts like http://www.canadiancaraudio.com/onli...-sub-drop.html you have no right to call anyone a noob.

ok, I feel your pain, but there's a good reason why you check used equipment out before you basically buy it from someone, as if it were me how would I know if you did anything to it or not... I'm not saying you did, but if you had hooked the sub up before you offered to take it, then you could have avoided a lot of trouble...

And as far as Noobs, we all had to start somewhere... but then agian, I'm sure the doctor delivered you with an EQ in your hand right???

Mark

EDIT: as already said, http://www.canadiancaraudio.com/onli...-sub-drop.html
That seems like a n00b question to me, as a simple search of this site, or google would give you the answer...
